100 Questions to Ask Your Teenager

We all struggle with creating conversations at times. If your teens are anything like mine, they will finally want to talk when you are past ready to go to bed! These are the times I try to stay awake no matter how tired I am. I listen, I ask open-ended questions to learn more. We’ve had some of our best unexpected conversations late at night, and some of our best laughs, too.

One of the things I hear most from parents is that their teen won’t talk to them, that they won’t open up. Here are some fun questions (by David Rettew, M.D., from psychologytoday.com) to get conversation started.
